Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your journey begins with transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This can be done by road through Uganda’s scenic countryside or by a domestic flight to a nearby airstrip for a shorter travel time.
The drive offers views of rolling hills, terraced farms, and rural communities, giving you a glimpse into Uganda’s natural beauty and culture. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you check into your lodge and relax, preparing for the next day’s habituation experience.
Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience
This is the highlight of your safari: the gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Early in the morning, you report to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing before heading into the forest with researchers, trackers, and guides.
